President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump cast their midterm ballots Saturday at the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections office in West Palm Beach, Florida. They arrived together after the president spent the morning at his nearby golf course 12.
Trump wore an "I Voted" sticker. Asked whether he voted a straight party line, he said he had backed Republicans across the ballot 12.
Very much so.
More than 26 million votes already in
The Trumps voted as early voting runs strong nationwide. According to NBC News, 14.3 million mail-in ballots and 12.5 million early in-person ballots had been cast, a combined total of about 26.8 million votes 1.
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3. Many states let voters cast ballots in person or by mail before that date 1.

The mail-ballot record
The Associated Press (AP) reported that Trump "has been criticized in the past for voting by mail despite his long history of railing against that method of submitting ballots." This time, he voted in person at an elections office 2.
The pattern matters for voters. Mail voting is the choice of millions of Americans in this election, and the president has a long record of attacking it 12.
Florida races and a Georgia stop
Trump has endorsed Republican Rep. Byron Donalds for governor of Florida. Donalds faces David Jolly, a Republican-turned-independent-turned-Democrat, in the race to succeed term-limited Gov. Ron DeSantis 2.
Trump has also campaigned for Republican Sen. Ashley Moody. She is running to fill the last two years of Secretary of State Marco Rubio's former Senate term against Democratic state lawmaker Angie Nixon 12.
After voting, Trump was due to speak at a rally in Georgia. He is campaigning there for Senate candidate Mike Collins and governor candidate Rick Jackson, both Republicans. It is his second Georgia rally in eight days, as Republicans try to maximize turnout before Nov. 3 12.
Other remarks at the polling place
Trump also spoke to reporters about the war in Iran, saying, "I may have to finish it off." He added that Iran might make a deal 2.
He again defended an Ohio campaign ad by Republican gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. He also defended his instruction to the administration to file a lawsuit to block certification of Alaska's U.S. Senate race if Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan loses 2.
Melania Trump was asked whether she might travel to Ukraine after her role in efforts to deliver humanitarian aid in Oleshky. She answered, "We will see" 1. AP reported that she brokered a ceasefire there this week so aid could be delivered and civilians evacuated 2.
What happens next
Early voting continues across the country until Nov. 3, and the total of 26.8 million is likely to keep rising 1.
