U.S. Senate — Georgia

Jon Ossoff

Georgia's senior senator is the only Senate Democrat running for re-election in a state Trump carried in 2024, making his seat the GOP's top pickup target. He faces Rep. Mike Collins, who won the June 16 Republican runoff over Derek Dooley.

On the ballot against Mike Collins (R)

Why it matters: Ossoff is the only Democratic senator seeking re-election in a state Trump won in 2024, and Democrats must hold this seat to have any chance at a Senate majority.
