Mallory McMorrow, speaking at a midterm election event, gives the crowd the primary turnout numbers from each side of the ticket. She says every Democrat, whatever their faction, wants you to have health care, the right to vote, and clean air and water. In the primary, 900 ,000 people voted on the Republican side of the ticket. How many people voted on the Democratic side? Ooh, close. 1 .6 million! But here's what I know. That every single Democrat, no matter what faction of the party you come from, every Democrat wants you to have healthcare, every Democrat wants you to have the right to vote, Every Democrat wants you to have clean air and clean water and access to a great innovation. Every Democrat believes that you should start on the same starting line no matter where you're born, no matter where your zip code, no matter where you come from, and that is why we are united. And we're going to show the rest of the country that we can grow and we can take our country back from oligarchs who want to make it all about themselves.
