Bale Dalton is a retired Navy captain and former NASA chief of staff who won the Democratic nomination for Florida's open 7th District. He faces Republican Ryan Elijah, a former TV anchor who beat Rep. Cory Mills in the August primary, in a district Trump would have carried by more than 12 points in 2024; Inside Elections rates it Likely Republican.
