An independent, not a Democrat. Osborn is a union leader who led the 2021 Kellogg's strike in Omaha, and he is challenging Sen. Pete Ricketts. He says he won't caucus with either party, but the Nebraska Democratic Party has endorsed him, and October polls show a close race.
