Mary Peltola, speaking at Alaska Public Media's Debate for the State 2026 U.S. Senate debate, says Sullivan has voted 14 times for the war in Iran, voted to cut ACA tax credits for Alaskans, and taken nearly $300,000 from industrial factory trawlers. Alaskans, she says, deserve a leader who puts Alaska first, "not their own personal stock portfolio."

Young people are being priced out of Alaska as prices rise and abundance turns to scarcity. Corporate greed and corruption have taken over D .C., and Dan Sullivan has taken their side every step of the way. He's voted for this price -hiking war in Iran 14 times. He's voted to cut how A .C .A. tax credits. for Alaskans across our state. He's taken nearly $300 ,000 from industrial factory trawlers and has stood by as some of our fisheries are collapsing before our eyes. But Dan is doing just fine. While Alaskans are living hand to mouth, he's gotten three times richer since being in the Senate. Alaska, you know what good leadership looks like. Ted Stevens and Don Young showed us. You deserve a leader who will answer to you, who will put Alaska first, not their own personal stock portfolio.
