At a media briefing after a campaign rally in Michigan, Abdul El-Sayed answers a question about attacks on him by saying he was born in Rochester Hills, Michigan, and that Rogers has a house in Florida he pulled off the market. He accuses Rogers of rubber-stamping and cheerleading the war in Iran, which he says people are paying for at the gas pump, at the grocery store and in tax dollars. He also says Rogers called the tariffs a masterclass and "can't shake Donald Trump."

Do you think that's gonna work and what do you make of those attacks? Do you know where I was born? Was it was it anywhere but Rochester Hills, Michigan? So, you know, I'm just saying like at the end of the day. He seems a little bit confused He's got a house in Florida. He was on that was on the market He decided to pull it off the market and I think he decided to pull it off the market because he's probably seeing the same polling That we're all saying right Mike Rogers This is going to be his second failed attempt to run for US Senate and that's because he's tied himself to Donald Trump and Donald Trump's failed public policies. He has rubber stamped and cheer led this war in Iran for which we are all paying both at the gas pump and at the grocery store and then also paying in tax dollars. He believes that the tariffs were a masterclass. If you want Michiganders to have to pay extra money, maybe they are a masterclass, but that's not my goal. I would like to bring our costs down. And he still can't shake Donald Trump. I mean, Trump was here on Sunday telling everybody that Trump is on the ballot. and I agree Trump is on the ballot in the form of my Grodgers.
