On January 1st, on January 1st, 2027, the day I'll officially take office is the same month that 89 ,000 New Mexicans are projected to lose their Medicaid coverage thanks to Trump's big ugly bill. He's cutting SNAP benefits and making families jump through endless hoops just to get basic health care. His actions threaten the very resources that thousands of New Mexicans rely on to survive. And he could care less. So our work to combat Trump's cuts starts on day one. Because no matter what comes out of Washington, we have a responsibility to take care of our people right here at home.
