U.S. Senate — South Carolina · First run

Annie Andrews

Annie Andrews is a Charleston pediatrician who won the Democratic nomination on June 9, 2026, and now faces Republican Sen. Darline Graham, who was appointed after her brother Lindsey Graham died on July 11. Recent polls show a close race with Graham slightly ahead, in a state that has not elected a Democratic senator since 1998.

On the ballot against Darline Graham (R)

Why it matters: Whoever wins will be the first woman South Carolina voters have elected to the U.S. Senate, and a Graham loss would be a test of Trump's endorsement power.
