In an interview on MS NOW, Andrews says she has spent 18 months building a coalition of Democrats, independents and Republicans like her own dad, and vows to be an independent voice on gas prices, grocery prices and data centers in rural communities. She calls Graham pro-war, pro-data center and pro-Medicaid budget cut, and accuses Graham of hiding family business ties to China.

Yeah, and that's just a reaction to the strength of our campaign because again, I've been building this coalition of South Carolinians for 18 months. My campaign is not just for Democrats in South Carolina who dare to feel hopeful in this moment. It's for independents who are ready for change. It's for Republicans like my own dad who feel left behind by their own party. And it's for everyone in South Carolina who feels like the broken Washington system isn't working for them, for people who are more concerned about how they're going to pay their bills than what their political party is. They see gas prices continue to go up and grocery prices continue to go up. These data centers being built in rural communities all across the state, and they want a voice in Washington, D .C. And I vow to be an independent voice who will wake up every day and put South Carolina first. Darling Graham is pro -war. She's pro -data center. She's pro -Medicaid budget cut. She's now pro -China. She's been hiding her family's business ties to China.
