U.S. House — Kentucky's 6th District · First run

Zach Dembo

Zach Dembo is a Navy veteran, former federal prosecutor and former legislative director to Gov. Andy Beshear who won the Democratic primary for the open seat now held by Andy Barr. Republican-leaning forecasters still favor Ralph Alvarado, but they have moved the race toward Democrats, and the only public polls so far come from Democratic sources.

On the ballot against Ralph Alvarado (R)

Why it matters: National Democrats are targeting this open seat as part of their effort to win control of the U.S. House, and money and resources are flowing into the district.
