Abdul El-Sayed speaks at a campaign event in Detroit. He says the people attacking him are talking about him instead of gas, groceries, schools, doctors and clean water, and he blames Donald Trump for those problems. His name and his faith, he says, are not why families can't pay for gas, groceries, rent or a mortgage.

They're whole -care pays, guys. They're talking about me. You know what they're not talking about? They're not talking about you. They're not talking about your gas or your groceries. They're not talking about your ability to send your kid to a school. They're not talking about whether or not you can see a doctor. They're not talking about clean air or clean water. They're not talking about any of the things that governments are actually supposed to solve. Why? Because Donald Trump has created those problems. There are good problems. So, like I've always said, my name and my faith are not the reason you can't afford to gas. Not the reason you can't afford to groceries. Not the reason you can pay your ransom, your mortgage. Not the reason you can't see a doctor. Not the reason that a smokestack is putting future hair into your kids lungs. Not the reason that we got pee past in our water or there's lead in our pipes. Goodbye.
