At an election night rally in Kansas, a speaker supporting Adam Hamilton says only 25% of Kansans are Democrats, yet Republicans, independents and Democrats are saying what's happening in Washington is not okay. They point to years of Sam Brownback, "Chris Cobock" and Donald Trump, and say enough people stood up for decency and that Hamilton has shown "we can bring people together."

How about this happened? How about a Democrat who has been in Kansas a deep, deep red state for the first time in the year of the 8th century, especially in a state where only 25 % of people are Democrats? How about this happened? I'm not sure that you would have a good answer to that question. So I want to say, first of all, that I think the people in Kansas, Republicans, independents, and Democrats are saying what's happening in Washington is not okay. I think they've just been living through now what, 16 years of Sam Brownback, Chris Cobock, Donald Trump and Kansans, Republican or Democrat, no, those people are not okay. That behavior is not okay. And so finally enough people have stood up and said that we want decency again. And Adam Hamilton from day one to now has shown that he is a decent man and that we can bring people together, you know? Like we are not a nation divided, we're still one nation and we can still show the world that we can work together.
