We were able to flatten the curve, save a lot of lives, and actually open earlier because we took swift and decisive action. It did create a bond, and that's what we saw in this campaign. It never knew party. I want to share one more thing with you. I was never in a room in two and a half years where people didn't tear up when I was talking big, burly men. People are exhausted of living this way. They're tired of the hate and chaos and vitriol. You know, I'm a scrappy kid from Youngstown. I'm not afraid of a fight. But kindness isn't weakness. And that is a big message we saw. People are ready for public service, unity, and decency again. Here, here.
