In an interview on ABC News "This Week," Josh Turek says Trump "accurately identified the problem," but the result has been more consolidation of wealth and power to a handful of individuals. Turek calls the "big beautiful bill" the most egregious example, saying 110,000 Iowans lose their health care and 119,000 see premiums double or triple. He adds that Iowa has lost 842 health care entities.

Be immigration, those tax issues? Yeah. You know, I say that Trump accurately identified the problem. He would go and, you know, when he was out here, and that's why I don't vilify people for voting for Trump. He said, you know, your grocery prices are too high. The system is corrupt. You're getting, you know, I'm going to lower your electric bill. I'm going to keep us out of forever wars. But the result has been more and more consolidation of wealth and power to a handful of individuals. And you look at the big beautiful bill as the most egregious example. 110 ,000 Iowans lose their healthcare in the state with a healthcare crisis and a cancer crisis. 119 ,000 Iowans seeing healthcare premiums double or triple. I mean just in a state of 3 .2 million we've lost 842 healthcare entities in this state while we're giving tax breaks to billionaires.
